Made with a natural olive oil base
The subtle olive oil flavor gives way to minty essential oils that linger in your mouth, leaving you’re pearly whites feeling fresh and clean. Like with so many things it’s a matter of getting used to something new, but once you do, it’s hard to go back to abrasive paste.
Tooth Soap is good for you
Because there is no silica added, the soap won’t disturb your saliva’s PH. This means that your saliva can do it’s job and naturally re-mineralize your teeth, which will keep both your enamel and gums especially in good shape.
The silica found in most natural toothpastes not only disrupts your inner ecology, but it also degrades your enamel.
Silica works as an abrasive agent, made from finely ground quartz, sand and flint. According to Dr. Warren Scherer, NY University College of Dentistry, silica scratches tooth enamel and interferes with the saliva’s function in natural re-mineralization of ionic calcium and phosphorus to tooth enamel. Extended exposure to silica may cause damage to tooth enamel and should be avoided when gum disease, tooth decay, sensitivity and receding gums are present.
In addition to silica, many so-called ‘natural’ & ‘organic’ toothpastes often contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfates, sodium cocoyl glutamate, silica or petro-chemicals. Check your Tom’s. Many of their flavors contain SLS.
If you have yet to tread natural toothpaste territory, I hope you’ll consider moving away from conventional toothpaste.

Could be killing your thyroid, disrupting your hormones, destroying cells, leading to cancer and generally taxing your organs. Your body has enough environmental toxins to process!
