Here’s your ticket to complete freedom from store bought toothpaste
Mixing up a batch of your own hand crafted toothpaste is as easy as this!
GET
- A Lovely Container
- Baking Soda
- Olive Oil
- Sea Salt
- Essential Oil… Peppermint, or any other that tickles your taste buds!
MIX
1/2 cup baking soda (adjust for desired consistency), 1/4 part filtered water, a teaspoon of olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and about 20 drops of essential oil for flavor. Shake it up.
There you have it! Artisanal toothpaste made by you.
This recipe won’t disturb your saliva’s PH, won’t interfere with your mouth’s natural re-mineralization and won’t irritate your precious gums – but will leave your mouth feeling fresh, clean and healthy.
If you’re intrigued, but not so sure you want to go through the trouble, read here about the hazards of ingredients found lurking in even the most natural of toothpaste brands. If you have the means, you may just want to dish out some cash and invest in a couple bottles of Tooth Soap. One ounce will last at least a month, you could even stretch it to two.
