If you’re seeking an affordable, versatile and non-toxic bath solution, Omega Nutrition’s Natural Face and Body Soap is the answer to your call.
This plain old traditional liquid soap, is an authentically natural product suitable for all your body washing needs. The recipe includes water, a few organic oils, and that’s it.
The ingredients are so pure, you could eat them. In a sense anyway. Follow the dilution guidelines below and use as a great veggie wash!
It’ll only cost you $5.85, for a very concentrated 8oz bottle, or stock up with the 32oz for $12.49 (prime!).
It’s fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and made with certified-organic ingredients.
SKIN
This soap won’t dry you out! Which makes it great for face, body, baby, and even people with sensitive skin prone to allergies.
I have extremely dry skin – the kind of skin that literally hurts when I get out of the shower. After using Omega Nutrition’s Natural Face and Body Soap I still needed to apply moisturizer, but my skin didn’t feel overly-taught as it does with some other soaps.
You’ll also be happy to hear that this liquid soap produces a great, satisfying lather! Something that’s not always the case with chemical-free soaps.
HAIR
It works surprisingly well on hair! I have straight, often limp hair. Many natural shampoos don’t have the right PH (promoting greasiness), or they contain oil repellants that in and of themselves end up weighing your hair down.
I certainly was not expecting to get great results with Omega Nutrition’s Natural Face and Body Soap, and honestly only washed my hair with it for this review.
I was truly surprised! See for yourself. My hair, had a good amount of body and felt really full. It wasn’t silky smooth, so if you have dry or course hair, you’d probably need to follow with a conditioner. But all in all, it’s a totally functional shampoo.
SCENT
Personalize your soap! Make it feel like a high end product by adding about 20 drops (per 8oz’s of soap) of your favorite essential oil. Make it feel even more spa like, by transferring the liquid to a pretty glass bottle. Use one without a nozzle to avoid clogging drama.
I recommend you do take the time to add essential oils if you plan to use it as a shampoo for an adult with long hair. The natural smell of the organic oils benefits from the fragrant balance. I accented my soap with 20 drops of Ylang Ylang and it felt like a I was using a higher end product.

VEGGIE WASH
Add a full tablespoon of soap to cup of water. Store in a container and use a few splashes with a veggie brush or just massage with your hands.
Use in your garden as a natural insecticide. Dilute 1 tablespoon to 4 cups of water and spray.
SUGGESTED USAGE
Omega Nutrition suggests the following dilution guidelines. I’m OCD and can’t be bothered, so I used it straight, save my essential oil modification. If you want to stretch your dollar even further, see below.
Because this multi-purpose, all-natural soap is a concentrated product, dilution is recommended:
Face: 1 Tablespoon Soap to 5 Tablespoons of water.
Body: 1 Tablespoon Soap to 3 Tablespoons of water.
Shampoo: Tablespoon Soap to 1 Tablespoon of water.
SUPER CLEAN INGREDIENTS
Water, potassium soaps of: (cocoanut oil, oleic acid from food grade palm oil, high oleic sunflower oil, organic olive oil).
